yes that is correct but what is the point of upgrading to 4.0.2 or 4.1 there are some problems in the firmware correct? (jailbreakme doesent work), I am on 4.0 for my ipod touch 2g.
no problems right now but when a major update comes I will update when D7 reviews on it.
I have one problem tho does anyone know how to fix your time on the ipod touch 2g when it displays the wrong time

yo D7 you dont need to jailbreak your i devices with redsnow. Obviously you can use jialbreakme for the jailbreak but if you want multitasking and all the features that the iPhone has then use winterboard to enable the ones you want.

@insanesk8master It doesn’t matter it restores it first. It’ll automatically delete everything then install iTunes things like songs, apps, vids, etc. You have to rejailbreak and reinstall. or use something that backs up cydia to restore all your cydia things at once.
