Cool Screensavers

http://twitter.com/chrispirillo – I’ve been making software and hardware recommendations for over a decade, and this one would definitely make my top ten. It’s a free, cross-platform, and breathtaking screen saver that’s been playing on my 30″ screens at http://live.pirillo.com/ for the past few days. I decided to take videos from the cache and compile them into this demonstration. What you’ll see on YOUR computer will likely be even more amazing.

    @asarotiv Sorry, I must have hit a nerve with that last comment. I guess that I forgot that some people don’t value being educated anymore.

    @asarotiv Okay, you …
    @asarotiv Okay, you are entitled to your own opinion, but lets be honest, complaining about 2GB of space? Maybe that is something to be concerned about in yesteryear but in computing today that is virtually nothing. And as far as you having “more knowledge”, you would have at least capitalized your “I’s” (Maybe you should put a comma in there somewhere too, but I will not tell you where, because everyone needs a challenge once in a while.)

    the best way to …
    the best way to spend more on electricity for no meaningful reason is installing such screensavers that use up lots of your cpu time. CPUs indeed use more electricity when occupied as well as your LCD in comparison with LCD in standby state. If you want to save your screen, turn it off!
